| One long course (circa 30+ mins) and cut off for short course. Occasionally something extra. | ||||||||
| BOF Policy limits street orienteering (interaction with slow traffic) to adults and juniors that have passed their 16th birthday. As a consequence it is not always possible to provide a suitable course for those under 16. It is therefore necessary for parents to check in advance with the organiser or planner whether a suitable course is available for under 16's. | ||||||||
| SI timing. A few SI dibbers will be available for newcomers to borrow (free, but charged if lost). Regular orienteers must bring their own SI dibber. | ||||||||
| Starts between 1800 & 1900 hours. | ||||||||
| Entry fees £3 adult / £1 junior. | ||||||||
| BOF Rule 1.7.1: "All competitors in any event to which these Rules apply take part entirely at their own risk. Competitors shall take into account their own ability to compete safely". There will be road crossings, so give way to all types of traffic at all times. Follow the highway code. | ||||||||
